We have searched the interwebs in the search of the funny, stupid, silly, insane or inspiring to share with you. Inspired to point out the silly often ridiculous world we live in. We hope you find something humorous or thought provoking each day.
Who am I?
Huh? I am *not* a bum. I'm a jerk. I once had wealth, power, and the love of a beautiful woman. Now I only have two things: my friends, and... uh... my thermos. Huh? My story? Okay. It was never easy for me. I was born a poor black child. I remember the days, sittin' on the porch with my family, singin' and dancin' down in Mississippi.. Navin R. Johnson, The Jerk (1979). Not really my life story. Close though.
I have been referred to as a jerk, but never had wealth, and have had my fair share of women. I was born in New York and now reside in Florida. I find life hilarious. Humor is all around us. It can be a picture, gif, quote or it can happen right in front of you. Internet captures real life instantly. Cameras are everywhere. There are tons of humor sites out there. I find many of them hilarious as hell. I love finding hilarious items and sharing them. So I started the D on the C Twitter many years ago. The D on the C concept was made in New York in the 90s while working in a distribution center. You can read more about that in the Deuce Rant coming soon.
Laughter is the best medicine. We've all heard that many times in our lives. So why not share humor to hopefully make someones day a little better. Twitter was that escape. It was fun. It was random. It was everyday events or stories people can relate to. Its not just posting what I am eating or watching. It can be photos or stories to make you laugh or to make you think. The more strange the story, the more Im likely to post it. I have been referred to as a very weird dude many times. I am not offended.
Debating is fun too.I can take either side of a debate for my personal amusement. What better way to humor yourself than to set the wheels in motion and watch the enfolding drama. People can truly get passionate about certain topics. Quite often it doesn't even concern them. We all just love to stick our noses into others business. I have also been referred to as an instigator. Guilty if held to the exact definition. However, if people minded their own business, it wouldn't be so easy to get people stirred up.
